Xtreme Mobility: Seamless, Secure Data Exchange
Xtreme Mobility has developed a technology that enables seamless and secure data
transmission over public wireless networks. This means no more hassling with conflicting
devices or protocols. With our technology, wireless transactions can be safe, convenient,
and easy-to-use.
Our technology runs at the Application Level, enabling seamless secure data
exchange between a mobile device and a server, independent of device type,
network and protocol.
An Example: Credit Card Transaction Validation
The Problem:
Credit card fraud costs businesses millions of dollars in lost revenue each year. With the
rise of electronic payment, a credit card number alone is vulnerable to abuse and is inadequate
in protecting the consumer.
The Solution: Vendors can require each credit card transaction to be authorized using a mobile device. Using Xtreme Mobility's secure data transmission architecture, an encrypted transaction request is sent to the client, approved by the client, then an encrypted reply is returned to the host. Only after this process completes successfully will the sale be finalized.
