Xtreme Mobility Awarded Contract to Provide INTERAC Online Service to Universities
Thursday September 06, 2007
Toronto, Ontario. - Xtreme Mobility has been awarded a contract to act as the sole agent provider of INTERAC Online to universities and colleges through Admeris Payment Systems Inc. "With their specialty in online gateways, their long-term experience in the payment processing industry, and their understanding of the needs and requirements of educational institutions, we believe Xtreme Mobility is well-positioned to provide INTERAC Online to our customers", said Razim Samy, Vice President, Sales of Admeris. As of October 1st, 2007, Xtreme Mobility will be authorized to provide special rates to their customers in the education industry.
INTERAC Online is poised to become a major transaction method in the years to come. It is a safer payment method than traditional credit cards and allows the targeting of customer groups which traditionally do not have credit cards. Now, anyone with a bank account will be able to make purchases online using debit cards. For educational institutions, direct applications of INTERAC Online are far reaching; from meal plan purchases to tuition fees, online payments will streamline registration processes and reduce the overall traffic at the financial offices of these institutions.
