Waterloo, Canada. - Today, the XMOne mobile payment system was offcially launched at Wilfrid Laurier University. The much-anticipated service allows students to deposit money into their One Card flex-dollar accounts using everyday cell phones installed with the XMOne mobile application.

Due to their busy schedules, one problem students typically face is the lack of access for depositing money into their accounts. Often, deposit transactions are performed at one location on campus, which only operates during business hours. Installing Automatic Depositing Machines or providing 24 hour services may not be financially feasible.

XMOne is designed to increase accessibility and convenience for students and parents, allowing credit card deposits at anytime and virtually anywhere using a cell phone. The application is specially designed for compatibility with a broad spectrum of typical cell phones offered by Bell, Fido, Rogers, and Telus. In addition, XMOne is developed alongside leading data encryption experts at the University of Waterloo and University of Western Ontario.
